Yesterday, after 3 years and 3 weeks, I lost my job at Gardens of Western Reserve in Streetsboro, Ohio. I will miss the residents and many of my co-workers. I wish the best to the Activities Department, under the new director, Christine Heaton. I hope administrator, Jeff Risner, gets the Activities department he’s always wanted. He told me I was “just not a good fit with that concept”. I’m not angry. I’m still shell-shocked.
